Wisconsin Women’s Rugby

Founded in 1975, our team is one of the nation’s oldest women’s rugby teams and plays competitively in the Wisconsin, Midwest and USA Rugby unions. Our team is always looking for new members and new opportunities for growth and continued success. We pride ourselves in providing all players with athletic, social and community benefits. New players are always welcome!

Wisconsin Rugby Club

The Mighty Wisconsin Rugby Club was established in 1962. From the onset, the WRC founders invested in the foundation of American rugby. The WRC won its first USA Rugby National Championship in 1998, followed by recent championship runs in 2008 settling at 3rd place, runner up in 2012, National Championship in 2013, and runner up in 2015. New players are welcome to join!

Old Boys

The Old Boys rugby team (affectionately known as the Very Old Men, Idiots and Twits aka V.O.M.I.T.s) plays a social calendar throughout the year, including tours (rugby and pubs) both domestic and international. The Old Boys are predominantly alumni of the UW-Madison Men and the Wisconsin Rugby Club, but welcome new players of all levels, backgrounds and alumni affiliations.
