Girls Rugby
Madison United Rugby has amazing opportunities for girls who want to play rugby in the greater Madison area. With Middle & High School teams available as well as youth flag, girls of all ages can play the amazing game of rugby.
MUR has developed a pathway for girls to move from non-contact flag rugby, to 7-a-side middle school tackle to full 15s high school tackle rugby.

Middle School Girls
The girls middle school Silver Eagle Youth Rugby team was created in Spring 2025 when 12 brave girls came out to form the first ever team in the greater Madison area.
The middle school season is in Spring with games & tournaments happening throughout the state. It is a 7-a-side fast paced game!

The MadTown Furies are an inclusive and welcoming high school girls’ rugby team based in Dane County and surrounding communities.Whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, the Furies embrace all skill levels and encourage participation from diverse backgrounds.
